Becca's Closet Scholarships

Becca’s Closet is a volunteer-led national nonprofit organization that memorializes Rebecca’s project. Becca’s Closet chapter volunteers throughout the U.S. collect and donate formal dresses to high school girls with financial need. Becca’s Closet Scholarships memorialize Becca’s contributions to the community by honoring other young people who have made a difference in the world.

Eligibility:
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior anywhere in the United States with a minimum 2.0 unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale. Demonstrated financial need–all pages of FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) required. Must have made an outstanding, documented contribution to his/her local community through service to his/her local community through volunteer service of any kind. Will attend a regionally-accredited 2or 4-year college/university or technical/vocational institution in fall of the year of the award. Must be a US Citizen, legal resident or DACA-eligible. How to Apply:
Candidates must submit their application form to meet the eligibility criteria.
Candidates must demonstrate financial need.
Two letters of recommendation are to be submitted by the students applying.
An official transcript.
A essay must be submitted by the applicants based on the topics presented on the application form.
