The Office of Navajo Nation Scholarship and Financial Assistance serve eligible Navajo people and provide the scholarship opportunity for the students to achieve their educational goals. The scholarships named as full-time ONNSFA scholarship and part time ONNSFA scholarship are open to students majoring in Teacher Education or related fields. The purpose of ONNSFA is to dispense financial assistance to eligible applicants who demonstrate a “need,” based on income. Award varies according to scholarship.

Certificate of Indian Blood
Sealed and unopened official high school transcripts, GED scores and official transcripts all colleges attended must be mailed or hand-carried to an agency office
All students are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and submit the Financial Need Analysis to the institution’s financial aid office
A Letter of Admission or Re-Admission from the institution the applicant will attend is required.
All college juniors, seniors and graduate applicants must submit a list of all courses required to complete the degree being pursued.
