Opportunity Knocks Scholarship

The Opportunity Knocks Scholarship will provide a need-based scholarship to students at the Community College of Aurora. The student will meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must have earned a high school diploma or GED and have a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester that the scholarship is received
- Applicants must have the most current year’s FAFSA or CASFA on file and show financial need
- Preference will be given to students who are graduates of an Aurora Public Schools high school

To receive second semester funds, students must submit a written statement detailing their greatest success during the past semester at CCA.
- Additional preference will be given to students who identify as single parents, and students who completed concurrent enrollment coursework at CCA
