Presidential Scholars

CCA’s Presidential Scholars will promote academic excellence, leadership development and inclusive excellence.

-Student has earned (or expects to earn) high school diploma or GED before start of Fall semester
-Student has earned at least 12 college credits through CCA
-Student has completed the FAFSA or CASFA (if applicable)

Expectations of Presidential Scholars:
-Earn at least a 3.5 GPA each semester
-Earn at least 24 credits hours at CCA over the duration of the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters
-Commit to serve as an ambassador for CCA on campus and in the community for at least 25 hours per semester (includes participation in special college events, career mentoring, and community service)

Supplemental Questions
  1. Think of a person who you consider to be a leader (teacher, family member, coach, mentor, co-worker, etc.). Describe two or three qualities that you believe makes that person a leader.
  2. Identify one of the leadership qualities you have and discuss how you use that quality in your life.
  3. Are you a current employee at Amazon?
  4. Are you a current participant of Career Choice at Amazon?
  5. Will you be enrolled at CCA for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters? If you are not taking classes one of these semesters then you must answer "No"
