The Medical Center of Aurora Pathways Scholarship
The scholarship will be a one-year award (Fall and Spring) for $1,100, with the opportunity to reapply annually if the applicant continues to meet the eligibility requirements as described herein. Scholarship funds shall cover tuition, books, fees, and any required equipment.

Requirements:
1. Applicants must have earned a high school diploma or GED and have (and maintain) a GPA of at least 2.5.
2. Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 3 credit hours per semester that the scholarship is received.
3. Preference will be given to students enrolled in a health science pathway program, including CNA, Integrated Nursing Pathway, Patient Care Technician, Patient Representative, Phlebotomy, Respiratory Therapy, and other degrees or certificates added to this pathway in the future.
4. While all students are encouraged to apply, regardless of one’s identity, preference will be given to students of color and those identifying as LGTBQ.
5. Applicants must be actively pursuing a defined program of study or certificate.

The Medical Center of Aurora will invite recipients of this scholarship to visit The Medical Center of Aurora and meet with hospital leaders. Additionally, The Medical Center of Aurora will assign a mentor that will support the student on their path toward a rewarding and impactful career in healthcare.
