Are you considered an ASSET student through the Admissions Office at CCA? House Bill 19-1196, passed in May 2019, allows Colorado ASSET (Advancing Students for a Stronger Tomorrow) students to qualify for money to help pay for college. State aid, including grants, scholarships and work-study funds, will help open the door to higher education for students who have attended high school in Colorado but who are not eligible for federal financial aid.

Are you meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress and Measurable Academic Progress eligibility requirements of Financial Aid at CCA? You must be in a good standing with CCA Financial aid to be eligible for this scholarship.
Definitions of Satisfactory Academic Progress Status
Review of Satisfactory Academic Progress will be done shortly after the stated due date for grades at the end of each academic term.
Students who fail to meet either the quantitative or the qualitative criteria will be placed on financial aid warning or ineligible for aid
status according to the following guidelines and will be notified electronically or in writing of their status.
Good Standing: Student is eligible to receive all types of aid
Cumulative GPA: 2.0 or above.
(Some scholarship programs may require a cumulative GPA higher than 2.0 for continued eligibility.)
Cumulative Completion Rate: 67% or above.
Single term Completion: Student has passed at least one course per term with a grade of A, B, C, D, S, S/A, S/B or S/C.
Maximum Time Frame: Student has not attempted more than 150% of the required number of credits for enrolled degree
or certificate program.
