Dee and Steve Lambert STEM Scholarship Requirements
1. Applicants must have earned a high school diploma and have (and maintain) a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5.
2. Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 5 credit hours per semester that the scholarship is received.
3. Preference will be given to students who graduated from Aurora Central High School or another Aurora Public Schools high school pursuing a program of study or pathway in a STEM field with the intent to transfer to a four-year university.
4. Applicants must meet all Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI) eligibility criteria, so long as the Foundation receives COSI support.
5. The scholarship will be awarded annually based on a decision arrived at by the Committee. The scholarship will be a TWO-YEAR AWARD for $1,500 per year for part-time students (5-11 credits) and $2,500 for full-time students (12 or more credits) so long as the recipient meets the second-year eligibility requirements described below. Scholarship funds shall cover tuition, books, fees, required equipment, and other costs of attendance.

Year Two Eligibility Criteria shall include:
a. Maintaining a 2.5 cumulative GPA or greater
b. Meeting at least once per semester with CCA’s STEM Navigator and STEM Pathway Advisor
c. Participating in on-campus and off-campus university and industry visits and other STEM programming.
